Neass Annual Dinner 7th February 2025 at The Majestic Hotel Harrogate

Hi everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to reflect on our 35th Annual Dinner held last Friday. With an impressive attendance of 230 people, it was certainly an event to remember!

In spite of the current challenges in the steel market, the evening was brimming with joy and camaraderie. We were delighted to welcome six new members to our gathering, and their presence added a fresh and exciting dynamic to the event.

This year's chosen charity was Cancer Research UK and I am thrilled to share that we raised an admirable £2300. To add to our delight, an anonymous donor has generously agreed to top up the amount to an incredible total of £4000. This remarkable gesture embodies the spirit of giving and community that defines us.

A highlight of the evening was our Chairman, Tony Levison, presenting Dick Sands, our esteemed Industry Speaker, with a farewell gift in recognition of his impending retirement. It was a touching moment that underscored the strong bonds and appreciation we hold for one another.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this evening truly special. A splendid time was had by all, and I look forward to more such memorable occasions in the future!
